Played with the Olloclip again this past week after we got a huge winter storm. I took a couple macro shots of a small icicle on a branch outside our house. I liked how the macro captured the bubbles and smoothing of the icicle.
I’ve been practicing with some color splash shots lately with the snow melting around here. I used Instasplash to turn the photo black and white and recolor the images where I wanted. The last image I also applied a Nostalgia filter in Camera+. I call this my Winter Thaw series.
I recently bought an app called Tangled FX. There are several different effects that can be applied to your image but the main feature of the app applies a fiber look with a touch of HDR. Below are some examples of what the app can accomplish.
Several different settings are available to style the outcome of the image to your liking.
Here are couples more pictures of what I call my ‘Zombie Territory’ series. I really like how the color of these shots came out. I used the icamerahdr and simplyhdr apps again but added some vignette to each. Both shots were taken with an iPhone 4S.
One thing about classic cars was they had classy hood ornaments. They seem to give the car more character.
